There were 12 working groups that were installed in the provinces of Jauja and Chupaca.<\/p>\n<p>More than 800 people attended our meeting points to participate in the informative workshops on TULLPA+. The development of these workshops had the purpose of making visible the problems caused by the use of a traditional kitchen (firewood stove) and, therefore, smoke inside homes. Likewise, the importance of an improved kitchen was explained and how its operation will reduce respiratory diseases and the carbon footprint.<\/p>\n<p>Another of the objectives of these workshops is to publicize the main characteristics of the project, as well as to listen to the population in order to achieve a better implementation of this project, which in its first stage will benefit 10,000 families.<\/p>\n<p>It should be remembered that in Cajamarca the workshops will be held in Los Ba\u00f1os del Inca, Llanacora, Namora, Matara and Yon\u00e1n from October 23 to 27.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More about the project<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>TULLPA+, more conscious kitchens for our community<\/strong>, is a project to implement environmentally friendly wood-fired kitchens, which seeks to improve the quality of life of families in rural areas of Peru.<\/p>\n<p>By improving traditional kitchens, it reduces respiratory diseases and deforestation due to the use of firewood.
